How to Reach us

To reach La Maddalena you can use Saremar or Enemar ferry lines, leaving every 15 minutes from Palau. You can buy tickets just before the takeoff in the ticket offices of the sea agency next to the boarding location.
During the travel from Palau to La Maddalena you can admire a beautiful view: Palau coasts and, in the distance to the east point, the Bear's Rock, next to the Island of Santo Stefano, dominated by San Giorgio Fort (1773), first of many constructions built as a defence to the archipelago.

You also shouldn't miss a visit to Santo Stefano: at the granite cave of Villa Marina you will see Costanzo Ciano's statue, sculpted in the granite.

Left Santo Stefano Island to your right side, your sight will be caught by the beautiful town of La Maddalena. You will admire the promenade in via Amendola when just disembarked. The ancient buildings dating XIX century and, on the left side, the small harborage of Cala Gavetta, where in summertime many yatch and sailing ships are moored, create a quite fairy picture.
